Via Zach Duke : May 2nd of 2023 my mom Ellan Duke died.It was arguably the worst year of my life. After living in Phoenix for 5 years I moved back home to be with my dad. Despite the unbearable pain, there was also an equal amount of beauty from last year. I am proud to present my debut Art Show - INSPIRED BY DEATH: 50 pictures the year mom died

None of these pictures would have existed if she had not passed. I would have continued on the same trajectory I was on living in Phoenix and these pictures would have been vastly different. But here we are, that's life... equal parts pain and beauty.
