"Only the boring get bored", is a phrase I've been using since I moved back to Jacksonville 2 years ago, and it's just as relevant today, as it was then. I understand the cold keeps people inside, but now that the days are warmer, I can't get behind the theory of Jacksonville being a boring city! I was only able to get to three events Saturday, and it took up my entire day with new experiences!

Started out at RAM (Riverside Arts Market), that happens every Saturday from 10am to 3pm under the Fuller Warren Bridge. It's such a perfect start to a Saturday, even if you're not buying anything (although, I doubt that you can make it through the maze without at least grabbing a local honey). Most people move between RAM and the Cummer Museum now that the garden is back in bloom.

The 7th Annual VegFest took place down the street from RAM at Riverside Park and it's one of my favorites from the festivals that happen throughout the year. Although I'm not a vegan, I do enjoy a majority plant-based diet. Who can pass up vegan dumplings at the House of Leaf and Bean, vegan Jamaican Patties at Miss Vi's CookUp, or even vegan Ethiopian food at Ibex.

Ended the night at Bobby K's Boutique in Murray Hill (my favorite shop in the area), for a model casting call for the fashion show happening during the Phoneix Rising Festival in Springfield on March 24th and 25th (which, if you haven't bought your ticket, that's absolutely one you can't miss. If you haven't been to a party there yet, THIS is the perfect introduction).
